What will be the batch size of Nia nbs mba ? and how is as per facility wise? and what is the scene on placement? Would be interested cause i knew someone who did a communications degree from this institute. So i was wondering whats the NBS MBA like. I mean would help if you could clarify the queries.

Well sammy i hope u get good marks in the CAT. I mean this time the CAT was like so messed up .They really made a mess of the whole process seriously. Anyways in case that you are considering MAT then the following are good MAT colleges as per my knowledge
1. Amity
2. IILM
3. NIA India
Now i understand you apprehensions regarding NIA MBA since it is just starting in this years. But before their MBA course, NIA is running a very successful communications course. The placement for that course is available on this link
http://niaindia.org/placements.html
So in case you are interested in an MBA that strongly focuses on brand management, i would suggest the NIA NBS MBA. Also most of their faculty are from the media insustry and highly qualified in their own domains. Anyways check out their website in case you want more information

The Amity general MBA is not bad. Only real issue is that it has a really large batch of students, so placements could be a bit of an issue. Otherwise its also a good albeit costly option

Well the placements for the communications course seem to be quite good. And anyways i am interested in the branding aspect of mba. Hmm then the placements of NBS nia business school seem to be quite good (going on the communications course placements.) What about the faculty and the facilities in the NBS Business School? Like the fact that the batch size of NIA business school is 200. But i am still a bit uncertain since NBS is a new MBA college.

NIA business school is located in Noida around 1 km near the metro station. Also since you asked about the NBS faculty, they are highly respected and immensely qualified in their respective industries. In case if you want to know more about the NBS or NIA business school faculty, then you can click on the following link
http://www.mba.niaindia.org/faculty.html
Facility wise , NIA Business school or NBS has modern infrastructure which is fully centrally airconditioned and has a huge library keeping the latest and most MBA reference books
I understand you apprehension regarding the NBS MBA. But when compared to institutes like IIPM and Amity, considering the huge fees of about 7lk plus versus the placement (avg placement around 4 lk) i would say that NBS MBA will offer you a better value proposition and a chance to avail a quality MBA education and also enhance your capabilities personally as well as professionally.
Wishing you all the best whatever be your decision for admission.

how is the faculty like in NIA? if i am going to enroll, i want my full money's worth. are the instructors good in terms of educational quality? how good is the syllabus? will i be placed after i graduate?

the faculty is a good faculty, highly qualified and most of them are full time working professionals. they put strong emphasis on industry interaction and participation. The unique case study based curriculum helps foster sound decision making and expert leadership capabilities among students. its worth a try. one of my friend is enrolled for the advertising program and according to them, the course is worth the money. Costs like only 3.6lacs, very low compared to other colleges offering advertising courses.

The good thing about NIA NBS noida is that the faculty as said by amrit are working professionals. Since MBA is such a discipline unlike science is also an art. So the NBS faculty bring their immense experience into the classroom and the student gets an opportunity to learn a lot more from the faculty.
Anyways @yadav it would be helpful if you could share your cat or mat score as well.

well abhisheik, i have a total score of about 730 in my MAT. what are my options if i try to enroll for NIA, how am I eligible for a scholarship or how much do I have to pay. i am looking for something affordable.

@ abhisheik: yeah basically has faculty i heard that is having qualified professionals. what could be better than that when u have lecturers that have more experience in what they do. they teach everything with in hand experience and the students can get best intake of knowledge since they teach from real world stuff. what do you say?

@ yadav.. yadav try nia/nbs business school. their intake is pretty good, but has only 120 seats. i think you have a pretty good score. you should try to apply. nia gives scholarships to people with good scores and how much experience you have, depending on that. i recently did a search and found the site for 'nbs' their site is : http://mba.niaindia.org/pgdm.html
basically its their mba course page. you can talk to the faculty by calling them at the number provided below in the site. for more info call them here. Tel: (+91 120) 4548 555 Mobile: (+91) 9871 565 565
