MBA with focus on Energy

1 year ago | turan.dot (Member)

I Want to do an MBA program with focus on Energy and need your advice:

are these programs only made for people already working in the field, or are they also good for people planing to switch to the field?

where is it better to do such an MBA - USA or Europe?

Any Program you would recommend?

Thx,

T.

it changes from one program to another - for example, while the MBA with Oil and Gas focus at Aberdeen Business School appeals to students interested in advancing their careers in the offshore oil and gas industries. the program offer by University of Alberta School of Business(Energy and Natural Resources MBA) focus more broadly on the energy industry, as well as the policy and international context of energy production and consumption.

I think that the choice, where to do it, should be made taking into the energy industry of the land into account - if its in a country with a big energy related industry, then its a good idea studying there(like Dubai, Russia, Canada ect.) - this should be no problem, as most of these programs are located in such places.
